COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Care FAQs

Imago Dei will be following the best recommendations of the CDC and will have to be flexible during this ever changing season. Here are the main changes that you can expect:

  • Masks or face coverings will be required in the building at all times by anyone 3 and up. We will have some available at the check-in station for those who need them.
  • Everyone attending church in person will check in to allow for contact tracing if necessary.
  • Each social group will have their own seating area during the service that is at minimum 6’ from the next area.
  • All singers will be wearing masks or face coverings.
  • No food or drink will be served at Imago Dei until further notice.
  • All frequently-touched surfaces will be disinfected throughout the service and from week to week.
  • We will continue to stream our services live online via YouTube and Facebook for those who are unable to join us in person.

We ask that you register for our church service on behalf of your social group through our Church Center Registration page for one of our three seating areas. Anyone 3 and older must be wearing a mask or cloth face covering at all times while in the building, and we ask that you limit food and beverages so masks remain on. Want to get a look at the building set up? Check out this 360 Virtual Tour! Please enter through the main entrance on the East side of the building, and check in with our hospitality team in the foyer so they can help you find an available seat in the section where you signed up.

You are welcome to use the church’s parking lot or the US Bank parking lot on the south side of the building. In addition, you are welcome to park on either side of the street on the east side of the building, or use the French Immersion School parking lot. Then head to the main entrance on the east side of the building, which will bring you to the church foyer where you will be welcomed by a member of our hospitality team!

We ask that you enter in the main entrance on the East side of the building, where our hospitality team is prepared to welcome you, check you in, and help you find a seat in one of our three seating areas: The Sanctuary, Cafe, and Great Hall. If you need a mask, you can get one from the check-in station. And don’t forget to stop at the kIDs Kart to grab an activity sheet to help your little ones engage their heart during the service! All of our seats are set up in socially distanced rows or boxes for your social group to safely enjoy the service. The Great Hall downstairs is set up with 8×10 feet squares with comfortable seating – a little bit bigger for families with small children to have more space to move around, and a toy bin that is disinfected from week to week.

At this time, we are not having our regular kIDs Ministry available on Sunday mornings, so families are encouraged to engage in the worship service together! As we hope to support parents in discipling their children, we have a few resources that can be helpful for you on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. On Sundays, you can find the kIDs Kart stationed in the foyer with coloring and activity sheets that go with the week’s message for the children to use during the service. We would also encourage you to consider bringing quiet activities that will help to engage your children during church. For families with younger children, we have larger seating areas (8×10 foot squares) available in our Great Hall

In addition, each week we have a new kIDs Korner video that you can watch with your kids to prepare their heart for the Sunday service. There is also a kIDs Konnection with more follow up resources for your family to engage in, including a memory verse for the week.

That is totally okay! While we hope to engage with you in person soon, we understand that not everyone is comfortable or has the ability to meet with us in person at this time. We would encourage you to stream our service live on YouTube and Facebook, and please fill out the Connect page of our website so we can get to know you better and help you continue to engage in other ways. In order to comply with Governor Tony Evers’ Emergency Order (effective August 1, 2020), Imago Dei staff wear masks within the building when meeting or interacting with each other. Individuals occupying an individual office are permitted to remove the mask when no other person is present, or when eating and drinking. Large meetings are limited to Zoom, outdoors, or in the Sanctuary as needed. Staff is also being intentional to wash hands, practice good hygiene measures, and disinfect work areas.

If you or anyone in your household has any COVID symptoms (fever or chills, cough shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea), we ask that you stay home. If you test positive for COVID and have been at Imago Dei Church, please contact Josh Lange at so our team can respond and care for the church as needed.

What if I have more questions?

If you have questions or wish to discuss an individual issue, please reach out to Joshua Lange at The Covid Response team will continue to monitor developments as they occur and will provide further direction as these developments occur. We appreciate your individual efforts and your patience during these ever-changing times!
